He actually forgot it’ll be his birthday today and he remembered when Jungwon said and sang him happy birthday yesterday. He has a happy day he’s been getting birthday wishes from friends, family and staff.
His mom prepared and sent over home cooked meals for him he was eating them on the live, he mentioned that he gets quiet when he eats. Jungwon left comments saying he is eating well but Jay didn’t see them so he just said goodbye.
Jay talked about how much he loves his mom’s home cooked meals and that as a kid he didn’t like going out to eat much because his mom was too great of a cook. She used to make dishes from around the world not just korean food. He was really enjoying the food he mentioned that even when he has days off it’s hard to go home so he rarely gets to eat his mom’s cooking. He said he’s using the same recipes but it’s still different.
Ni-ki also tasted his mom’s food and really liked it so since there are still more left he’s planning to feed Ni-ki after their schedules.
His acquaintances and company staff sent him many engene birthday fan projects and he felt very proud. There is a full prop room set up at the park in front of Hybe for him even his CEO sent a pic of it to him (*it was prepared by Jay’s Chinabar*). He wondered if it was the company’s initiative or they needed to ask for permission but the park is public domain.
He mentioned that they’ll do a lot of things in the US and in his hometown Seattle. He’s only been back a few times since they moved to korea, but this time going back will be like a special gift thanks to engene’s love.
Staff printed birthday pics for him some old photos from the mini memories and the ones the members posted. Jay talked about the pics a bit and mentioned that the one with Jake was at summer sonic after the outdoor stage they put on sheet masks.
He also guess the member’s birthday messages from the sticky notes. He chose a well drawn one for Ni-ki because he’s the only one who can draw really well on their team and Jungwon because he’s the only one who calls him ‘Jay-ssi’.
He had a schedule after the live so he wrapped up. Jay thanked everyone for their wishes, it’s already his 4th year celebrating as Enhypen and asked to still take care of him until his 60th birthday.
