Upon first listen, it’s not too bad. I do wish she had more lines, she was essentially just ad-libbing randomly for the rest of the song after her part.
Maybe this is naive, but I wish Western artists were more open to trying Korean verses or singing in harmony through Korean. This was a song that would have definitely benefitted from that. Probably pronunciation was an issue, but I wish it wasn’t lol
But otherwise, this is a lot more involved than other features I’ve seen, so kudos to this release.
Hmm. I still don’t get the point of this remix. They should’ve sung in English if they were going to remix it? Maybe filmed the MV as the remix version? It has 0 playlisting too so again, I don’t get what the point was.
It’s not too different from the original so at least it’s not terrible I guess!
I honestly can’t tell if it’s a good remix or not because I personally have never been a fan of that type of adlibs and it’s all they made her do so… Yeah, I’m conflicted I guess, her voice is cool and I think harmonies would have worked better instead of adlibs like in the Bella Remix, the only reason I didn’t like that version was because of her voice that was too soft and didn’t give more flavor to the song but her parts were well selected, Ava’s voice would have blended better that way imo.
I do like it when she’s actually singing, her strong delivery and voice suits this track really well, but all the “ooh” and “yeah” adlibs by her seem messy since the song is already perfectly packed with adlibs by the members. Mixed feelings overall
just feels unnecessary tbh
Not my cup of tea tbh albeit not bad – oh well, let’s go listen to the ENHA only version then 🌟
